Transferring Your Domain Name to a Self-Managed Account

Our platform is now closed.

We are concluding the process of moving customer domain names into self-managed accounts. To ensure you maintain control of your domain, you’ll need to complete a domain transfer to a registrar of your choice.

After we send you the EPP Authorization Code, you will have approximately one month to complete this process. FAILURE TO CLAIM YOUR DOMAIN WILL RESULT IN IT BEING LOST.

Important: If you transfer your domain name to a different provider, the DNS may go offline and your domain name may no longer point to your website. To avoid this, you can either:

• Transfer the domain name to Enom Central (DNS will be automatically transferred across), or
• Re-establish the required DNS records with your new provider. (Jump to DNS Instructions)

1. Transfer to Enom Central (Recommended)

1. Create an Enom Central account. (Follow password and username instructions carefully to avoid reCAPTCHA errors.)
2. Navigate to the Domains menu and select Transfer Domains.
3. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
4. Input the EPP code when prompted.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer process.

Approve the Transfer:

• Check your email for a transfer approval request.
• Click on the approval link to authorize the transfer.

Wait for Completion:

• The transfer process may take up to 7 days.
• Once complete, the domain will appear in your Enom Central account.

2. Transfer to GoDaddy

1. Visit the GoDaddy Domain Transfer Page.
2. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
3. Input the EPP code when prompted.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer process.

Approve the Transfer:

• Check your email for a transfer approval request from GoDaddy.
• Click on the approval link to authorize the transfer.

Wait for Completion:

• The transfer process may take up to 7 days.

• Once complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and the domain will appear in your GoDaddy account.
   

   

3. Transfer to Crazy Domains

1. Visit the Crazy Domains Transfer Page.
2. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
3. Input the EPP code when prompted.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer process.

Approve the Transfer:

• Check your email for a transfer approval request.
• Click on the approval link to authorize the transfer.

Wait for Completion:

• The transfer process may take up to 10 days.
• Once complete, the domain will appear in your Crazy Domains account.
