Steps:
1. Head to the Enom Central login page and login with your Enom Central Login ID and Enom Central Password.
2. In another web browser and tab, login to your Fotomerchant Folio account.
3. In your Fotomerchant Folio account, navigate to the Website > Domain Name area, select I have a custom domain name and click on the green Start custom domain setup button.
4. Fill in your domain details as per the instructions of the blue box in the screenshot below. Then press Link this domain to my account to proceed.
NOTE: Do not put www in the first field, as this will cause issues with the SSL certificates
5. Your screen will show your own individual Verification code that will look similar to the one highlighted in green in the screenshot below. Copy the code you see on your screen.
(Please do not copy the code shown in the screenshot of this tutorial, instead use the code you see within your Folio account, as otherwise we will not be able to verify the domain name.)
6. Head back to the browser tab, you logged into your Enom Central account in step one and Click on Domains then select My Domains.
7. You will now see all your domain names listed. Find the domain name you would like to point to your commerce account and click on it.
8. Click on Host Records.
9. Now we will need to create four records. Two CNAME records and two A Name records.
10. To create the www CNAME record use the information in the grey box below:
Host Name: www
Record Type: CNAME
Address: customerdomain.fotomerchant.com
NOTE: There is no substitution needed for customerdomain.fotomerchant.com.
11. The verification CNAME record can be setup with the info in the grey box below.
Host Name: copy/paste your own verification code as per step 5 in this tutorial
Record Type: CNAME
Address: domainverify.fotomerchant.com
12. Now create an A record with the below information:
Host Name: @
Record Type: A
Points to: 54.215.0.71
13. Create another A record with the following information:
Host Name: @
Record Type: A
Points to: 54.215.0.74
14. You should now have two new A host Records and two new CNAME records.
Any A Host records that point to an older server will need to be removed. If in doubt, you can always send us a screenshot of all your records in your dedicated Slack channel or shoot us an email to help@fotomerchant.com. Our support team is happy to review the setup and advise on necessary changes.
16. To finalise the process, we'll need to verify the domain name. Go back to your Fotomerchant account and press the Verify domain button at the bottom of the page you left off on.
Note that changes to your DNS Zone can take some time to publish and propagate through the network. In case the domain name doesn't verify immediately, please wait a few minutes and retry the button. If you still have trouble after a while, please let us know and we'll happily look into this for you.
Once the domain name has verified give it an hour or two for the SSL certificates to update.
