Why are my Digital Download orders requiring action?

The Store > Orders area consists of three sections: Requiring Action, Processing and Completed. 

When an order sits in the "Requiring Action" tab, the photographer's input is needed before the digital files can be delivered to your customers.

There are multiple reasons as to why Digital Download orders require action and the easiest way to find out what action is needed is to go to the Store > Orders > Requiring Action area and click on the Manage button next to the order as per steps 1-3 in the screenshot below.

Now that you are in the order page, scroll down to the "Digital Download Products" section, where all the products are listed. Next to each product, there is an Actions and Status headline which indicates if there is an issue with a product and what the issue is. For most Digital Products the issue will be a that a higher image resolution is required.

If this is the case, you can use the "Change Image" or "Upscale" buttons on the product to either upload an image in a higher resolution or to upscale the images.  The upscale button uses a standard algorithm to enlarge the resolution of your image.

On rare occasions you may find a digital order that is locked and non of the products require any action. If this is the case, the best way to unlock the order is to send us a quick email to help@fotomerchant.com, our support team will happily unlock the order for you.
