Security Behaviours of a Gallery Category

Depending on your subscription plan, you may find three different kinds of Security Behaviours for gallery categories.  To find out more about the feature availability for your plan you can head to the My Plan page here.

The three security behaviours are:

  • No password / public: Website visitors will be able to view the list of galleries within this Category. Passwords will still be required for protected galleries within.
  • Password protected: Website visitors will be required to enter a password in order to view the list of galleries within this Category. Passwords will still be required for protected galleries within.
  • Protected by the passwords of the galleries contained: Website visitors will be required to enter a password when accessing this Category. That password will be checked against the passwords of all galleries within the Category.
Only galleries using that password will be shown to visitors (along with any unprotected galleries). If only one gallery uses the password, the visitor will be taken directly into that gallery.
